The JALT School Owners SIG is a group of volunteers who provide support and services for language school owners in Japan. We operate under the umbrella of JALT but we work to help bring together as many owners as we can of all shapes and sizes.  We hold events such as conferences and webinars throughout the year which are all free for our members. If you are a school owner in Japan and are interested in learning more about what we do, connecting with other owners, or attending one of our events, please contact us through Facebook or e-mail.
 

With the completion of our first mini-conference in Osaka in January 2018, we have committed ourselves to providing the best service for school owners all over the country. The more members we have, the better we can serve while connecting us all together.

Language School owners have always played a significant role in JALT both at national & local levels but the School Owners SIG is the first time that they have had their own SIG. The SIG is where owners can share ideas, experiences, and solutions to the academic and commercial challenges they face which cannot be addressed through other SIGs. These include but are not limited to;
 

• Recruitment & Training

• Tax, Accounting, Banking and Bookkeeping

• Technology & software for language schools

• Curriculum development for language schools

• Marketing & advertising for language schools

• Partnerships & Trade between owners
